The longest drama anthology in Asia, Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) will now celebrate their 20th year anniversary in a month-long.
MMK, for 20 years have given us more than 800 true stories from all walks of life that has been converted into high caliber show, top rated shows every week and multi-awarded episodes.
On September 25, a two-hour documentary special will be aired entitled “MMK Dalawang Dekada,” this is hosted by Governor Vilma Santos and will include an interview with the host, Charo Santos. The whole documentary will feature loyal viewers who got into the stories and stars for every episode.
Five special stories will also be aired in the month-long celebration. The “Palawan” Story features Angel Aquino who will play the role of a mother who fought her way to stop mining in Palawan, but undergone series of devastating events like blindness and broken family. The “Bukidnon-Happy Feet” will feature the story of brothers Ramon and of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 2 who will be played by John Pratts and Nash Aguas. This will tell the love of brothers to each other on how to they go through struggles at a very young age. The story entitled “Barcelona” will tell a story of of Louie, a gay guy in Barcelona and his story on how he live his life only trying to please his father in order to accept him, the role will be played by Jake Cuenca.
