The Philippine National Police (PNP) is now also into the internet to make their move easier and faster.
PNP chief, Director General Nicanor A. Bartolome wanted to see if the E-Blotter and E-Warrant can be fully implemented this year. As of now the E-Blotter system is already working in Region 4 which comprises the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon as well as the provinces of Tarlac in Central Luzon, Cebu in Eastern Visayas and Butuan in Caraga region.
E-Blotter system will interconnect all units of PNP to have access to reports from different parts of the Philippines, so the PNP officials can know where are they going to stand. All reports and blotters from different parts of the country will be encoded and will be put in a data base where authorities can have access and can do action based on the reports.
On the other hand, E-Warrat serves as a fast way to arrest a person who have been in captive, just in case he was spotted in an area. Special authorities can have access with the E-Warrant data base and can just click and print the arrest warrant anywhere in the country. Criminals who can transfer everywhere has no more chance of getting out of their crimes.
In line with the E-Warrant, the PNP is now also putting up the E-Rogue system where the PNP members can have a full access to a gallery where the pictures and mugshots where there. Included to the gallery were the picture of law offenders, so officials can track a suspected criminal in captive.
